NON-CHOREOGRAPHERS ALERT!
Something to look forward to this Saturday, for me, I guess.(THIS and that drink & lounging session organize by Edmond in the evening).
A bunch of young stage performers, writers and artists giving choreography a chance under the tutelage of Marion D'Cruz. Expect lively movements that attempt to deconstruct the accepted idea of "dancing" and a courageous step towards democratisation of the creative space.
Five Arts Centre is well known for their credited efforts in bringing art closer to the society especially to the young people.
If they could accept a non-performer as part of the #3, I would love to be part of it.
But maybe I SHOULD watch the performance first. Deconstructing accepted ideas can sometimes be DIFFICULT (for the limbs, I mean)! ;). Plus I love to see Mark Teh (Director of "Baling Membaling") dance!.
